Some considerations when starting out with wire-bonding in a scientific context!
Additionally, I have a few little tips I (ususally) abide by:
1. No caffeine before wire-bonding, dicing, or anything of the sort. Your focus and dexterity must be at its tip-top shape!
2. On the other side, if you are tired/exhausted/sleepy, it is not worth it to “push through.” There are always other things to do in the lab!
3. No tool is “too old” and “too unreliable.” With enough patience and elbow grease, you can make any wire-bonder make solid bonds!
Hello!
I am Jason, a graduate electrical engineering student focusing on semiconductor device characterization, processing, and physics. I am passionate about solving problems and optimizing their solutions. My interests include semiconductor engineering, chip/computer architectures, programming simulators/calculators/tools, automotive design, and all things music!
On this website you can find my creative outlets and some of my professional/academic works. If you would like to contact me for any reason at all, you can email me at im@jbissias.xyz...
Hans Off! A calculator for finding the placement of celestial bodies in the sky!
Probability of Electron Placement. A small calculator that estimates the probability density of where electrons are in relation to an atom.
Musical Instrument Exctraction Using Cepstral Techniques. [Under construction for web interface] A proof-of-concept tool that extracts/removes certain specified instruments from audio tracks using deterministic signal-processing techniques. Calculation script credits go to my group-mate for this project, Matthew Farris.
College Projects. An assortment of write-ups and various projects from my college days.
